  • Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and shop supervision to ensure drawings align with priorities, schedule, fabrication sequence, and installation strategy
  • Incorporate field conditions, RFIs, and redlines into revised drawings as required
  • Support quality control efforts by ensuring drawings meet applicable codes, specifications, and internal standards
  • Maintain organized drawing files and revision control in accordance with project and company procedures
  • Participate in constructability reviews and prefabrication planning sessions
  • Assist with model-based takeoffs and material tracking as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a mechanical designer or detailer in industrial piping, pipe fabrication, or structural fabrication
  • Hands-on experience with Navisworks for model navigation, extraction and coordination
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting
  • Strong understanding of pipe spool fabrication practices, including welding, fit-up, and shop workflows
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, specifications, and project documents

  • Experience with Tekla Structures, particularly for coordination with structural steel or modular assemblies
  • Familiarity with ASME piping codes (e.g., B31.1, B31.3)
  • Experience supporting modular or prefabricated piping assemblies
  • Exposure to ERP or digital production tracking systems

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on complex industrial and capital projects
