Description
The IT Help Desk role is to support the stable operation of the information technology systems of The Downs Racetrack and Casino. This includes all duties that are applicable to a Tier I support and possible some Tier II support.
He/she is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. This individual responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.
It is expected the person will be a service minded individual, with strong attention to detail and organization.
This position requires that the applicant be at least 21 years of age. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a New Mexico Gaming Work Permit which requires a credit and background check.
