Job Summary:

Welcome New Grads

Under the direction of a Cardiologist, Radiologist, Surgeon, or Director-CVS performs Interventional Radiology and Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical specified procedures including procedural scrub assist, hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy image technique, radiation safety, and/or may be assigned other duties.

Current California Radiologic Technologist License.

Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.

Four (4) years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care hospital Preferred

Two (2) years recent experience as an Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab Tech III / or Interventional Radiology Tech III preferred. Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional experience preferred.

Valid Fluoroscopy License

Physical requirements: must have adequate back and general health to wear personal protective equipment, including but not limited to lead apron, protective glasses, etc. during procedures.

Current BLS Certification

Current ACLS Certification (completion date- prior to 90th day of employment)

Completion of basic 12-lead EKG class (completion date- prior to 90th day of employment) as required.
