Survey Technician - Phoenix or Mesa, AZ
  • Range: $55,000 - $75,000
  • Varies based on software experience (Civil 3D, MicroStation)

A well-established civil engineering and land surveying firm is seeking a full-time Survey Technician to join its team in Phoenix or Mesa, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to contribute to a wide range of public and private sector projects, while growing within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys, final plats, and legal descriptions
  • Process field notes, conduct survey research, and compile site data
  • Interpret title commitments, easements, and meet municipal submittal standards
  • Work with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to draft survey documents
  • Perform construction-related calculations, read as-builts and plans
  • Maintain effective verbal and written communication across project teams

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of land surveying experience
  • High school diploma or GED (technical drafting degree preferred)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center
  • Experience with MicroStation is a plus
