Job description

A high-demand, full-time permanent Neurosurgery opportunity is now available in Pueblo. This is a rare replacement position with immediate case volume, strong referral patterns, and the ability to build a thriving elective spine practice in an underserved market.

Join a collaborative surgical team supported by experienced advanced practice providers in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This board-certified/board-eligible neurosurgeon role offers autonomy, advanced surgical technology, and the platform to establish long-term professional impact within a growing community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform general neurosurgical procedures including cranial and spine cases
  • Build and expand an elective spine program
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care
  • Participate in shared ER call rotation with remote imaging review
  • Collaborate with APPs for floor management and clinic support
  • Utilize advanced neuro-navigation and robotics systems
  • Maintain high standards of patient-centered care

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Eligible for or active Colorado medical license
  • DEA eligible prior to start
  • Clean malpractice history
  • Strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and clinical excellence
