Intern/Co-Op (Undergraduate) – Real-World Value & Evidence (RWV&E) Summer 2026

Role -Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote
Duration - Contract - 2 months
Rate Range - $25.00/hr to $35.00/hr
About the Team:
The US Medical Affairs Real-World Value & Evidence (RWV&E) team is dedicated to advancing healthcare by delivering robust real-world evidence to key healthcare stakeholders—patients, providers, and payers. In particular, the team supports the multiple myeloma therapeutic area from the Horsham, PA office, generating and communicating clinical and economic evidence that informs the value and use of Janssen pharmaceuticals.

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking motivated students to join our RWV&E team for an impactful and exciting 3-month summer internship! As an intern, you will have the unique opportunity to work on meaningful projects that directly support our mission of advancing patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in conceptualizing research studies, and preparing and/or executing study protocols and statistical analysis plans
  • Conduct literature reviews or meta-analyses to support evidence-generation
  • Collaborate with data scientists to gain exposure to statistics, epidemiology, and advanced analytics using large databases
  • Develop competency in analyzing and interpreting real-world data
  • Enhance your scientific writing skills
  • Disseminate real-world evidence findings internally across cross-functional teams

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program (Master’s, PhD, PharmD) in pharmacy, health services research, health economics, biostatistics, epidemiology, data science, or a related field
  • Completed at least 1 year of graduate coursework prior to the start of the internship
  • Available for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
Preferred:
  • Prior research experience conducting observational/retrospective studies or literature reviews
  • Advanced coursework in health economics, epidemiology, psychometrics, research methods, survival data analysis, or parametric/non-parametric statistics
  • Skilled in programming languages (SQL, SAS, R, Stata)
  • Strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a passion for health economics, outcomes research, and the pharmaceutical industry
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
