Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE
The Store Manager is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and overseeing a variety of store operations duties. This position will serve as a role model for all Store Supervisor and Barista responsibilities. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with prior management experience. You will also be working with the Store Supervisor and Shift Leaders to ensure that baristas are properly trained, the store is fully staffed at appropriate times, and inventory, deposits, and orders are on track!
STORE MANAGER BENEFITS
Bonuses are earned by reaching pre-determined qualifiers and sales/speed goals. PTO is earned weekly from start date, and is available to use starting at 90 days. This is an hourly position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Weekly product orders
  • Weekly or bi-weekly schedules completed on time
  • Keep the store staffed appropriately for sales
  • Daily cash deposits and change orders
  • Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve beverages, as well as various sweet offerings, in accordance with established service standards (i.e. coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, pastries)
  • Clean, sanitize and maintain the store
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
  • Stock and replenish food, beverages, and utensils as needed
  • Ensure consistent product availability by keeping adequate inventory; communicate shortages as necessary to the Store Manager
  • Efficiently serve customers by being knowledgeable of offerings
  • Stay up-to-date with personalized online training
  • Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries
  • Communicate with Baristas, Store Supervisor and Regional Manager
  • Additional duties as assigned You are applying to work with a franchisee of Scooter's Coffee. If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own terms of employment, including wage, training, and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees.

Workdays are Monday-Sunday and Holidays. Weekends are required. We are closed Christmas Day.
