LEVEL: Four to Seven years' experience
We're looking for an Applications Developer who can break down requirements into actionable development tasks to delivering production‑ready solutions on schedule. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record designing, developing, testing, and deploying modern applications across AWS or C2S environments, and who brings deep experience building web applications and UI frameworks using Angular, React, or JavaScript. You'll work hands‑on with Linux systems, microservices and containerization technologies, and search/analytics platforms such as ElasticSearch, Solr, or OpenSearch.

Key Responsibilities
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
  • Ability to work individually as well as the ability to work in project teams. Proven ability in decomposing concepts to discrete development tasks and managing your work to a deadline.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of demonstrated ability to design, develop, test and implement new applications based on project requirements.
  • Minimum 5-7 years building web applications and UI/UX frameworks using Angular, React or JavaScript with specific examples. Java Spring framework is a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years‚experience working with Linux Operating systems
  • Minimum 4-6 years of demonstrated experience with development and deployment of applications in the Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) environment or an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment.
  • Minimum 4-6 year of demonstrated experience with search & analytic tools. Examples to include ElasticSearch, Solr, OpenSearch.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of microservices up to and including docker, podman, and or containerization services.
  • Strong development experience is required. Minimum 4-6 years of Object Orientated software development experience is required. Python is preferred but would consider Java, CSharp, HTML, or SQL.
  • Fundamental understanding of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processing with large structured and unstructured raw data sets. This can be demonstrated through education or OJT experience.

EDUCATION or EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Arts degree in Computer Science, Math, or other relevant field and minimum of six years of experience (Master's degree equates to an additional 2 years of relevant work experience)
Highly Desired Qualifications
Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
  • Text analytics and its applications/role/use in business intelligence/business analytics (i.e. search, entity extraction, sentiment analysis, document summarization, document categorization) whether through education or experience.
  • Familiarity around machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow whether through education or experience.
  • Familiarity experience with data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Pandas, D3.js, ggplot, etc) whether through education or experience.
  • Using Relational or Non-Relational data stores such as MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB whether through education or experience. Proven examples is a plus
  • Working in Agile software development teams.
  • Collaboration using Jira, Confluence, and GitHub for documenting work.
