Sewing Technician

Pay: Starting at $15.00/hour, with the opportunity to earn $16.00/hour after 90 days based on performance.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Sewing Technician to support greenhouse production by operating industrial sewing equipment, automated machinery, and material handling equipment. This role combines sewing, machine operation, and forklift operation to help ensure efficient production while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable learning new equipment and automated systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture or repair greenhouse products and materials.
  • Work with the Green Automation system and other production machinery.
  • Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and finished products.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance.
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies.
  • Assist with other production or warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous industrial sewing or sewing machine experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn automated equipment.
  • Forklift experience or willingness to become certified.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
