Job description

We seek a dedicated and dynamic individual to serve asthe Associate Director, Companions Program Operations. BostonCollege Companions (BCC): Fellows for Leadership and Service is a newly createdintergenerational, lifelong learning initiative rooted in the Jesuit traditiondesigned to guide accomplished professionals (Fellows) through purposeexploration, discernment practices, and spiritual growth.

The Associate Director, Companions Program Operations iscritical in ensuring the smooth operations of all program logistics, spaceplanning, and administrative tasks. This role collaborates closely with theDirector and acts as the primary backup during the Director's absence. Itrequires a comprehensive understanding of both immediate responsibilities andthe entire program to ensure seamless continuity and effective leadership.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Support BCC Fellows with registration, maintain the program syllabus, and oversee the Canvas site to keep seminar information and documents up to date.
  • Act as the liaison between the program's Fellows and campus partners, including Athletics, Student Services, the Registrar, and Athletics.
  • Oversee securing all payments from Fellows (deposits, parking, program fees, etc.) in close coordination with the recruiter.
  • Organize class selection and registration with Fellows, University Administrators, Deans, and Faculty.
  • Help plan, organize, and carry out Orientation for new Fellows.
  • Coordinate logistics for the annual pilgrimage, including working with travel companies, managing the travel registry, and accompanying the Fellows.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of the annual Silent Retreat.
  • Plan and organize monthly social events to build community and foster engagement among Fellows.
  • Create and manage content for the weekly newsletter, overseeing the production process.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to maintain program efficiency as well as procedures to help support Fellows.
  • Run reports in Slate and help analyze information for the director.
  • Ensure the program's overall success by managing all logistical aspects once Fellows arrive on campus, contributing to their well-being, satisfaction, and academic growth.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the Director, providing insights and support in decision-making processes and strategic planning.
  • Other duties as assigned to support team goals.

This is an in-office position.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: 74,450 to 93,050; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
