Job Summary
F&G Mechanical Corp. is seeking a full-time Boom Truck Driver to join our team in Secaucus, New Jersey. This position is responsible for delivering tools and materials to construction sites in the New Jersey area. Must be 21 years or older. CDL A license is required and boom lift experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Safely operates delivery vehicle while driving to assigned locations;
  • Delivers equipment, tools, materials, parts and supplies to construction job sites;
  • Assists with loading and unloading trucks for deliveries;
  • General warehouse duties, including tool and material inventory;
  • Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 21 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED;
  • Must have and maintain a valid CDL A license with a good driving record;
  • Candidate must possess proficient manual transmission operation skills
  • Minimum 4+ years of verified experience operating a boom truck. Candidates without direct boom truck experience will not be considered.
  • Operates a truck with a hydraulic crane (boom) to lift, move, and place heavy materials at job sites
  • Requiring a CDL, boom operation skills, and knowledge of safety protocols to safely transport and maneuver loads like steel, pipe, or equipment, coordinating with ground crews and performing pre-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations like OSHA.
  • Experience Pulling Trailers and Driving Lift Gate Trucks.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Some early morning and weekends may be required for deliveries.
  • Have an excellent attitude towards safety and firm adherence to safety protocols, Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established.
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and continued compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated random drug and alcohol testing requirements.
