A Full Time Short Form Video Editor is a professional who specializes in editing videos that are typically under 10 minutes in length, such as content for social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Their main responsibilities include selecting the best footage, adding transitions, effects, and music, and ensuring the final product is engaging and optimized for specific platforms. Working full time means they usually dedicate 40 hours a week to editing and collaborating with content creators or brands. This role requires creativity, technical video editing skills, and a deep understanding of current social media trends. Strong communication and time management skills are also essential.

Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and motion graphics software is typically required. Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines are standout soft skills for this role. These abilities ensure engaging, high-quality content that meets brand goals and performs well on fast-moving digital platforms.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Benefits

  • 9 paid firm holidays annually + additional time off
  • Opportunities for professional development and training
  • Positive and collaborative team environment
  • Firm-sponsored social events and team-building activities
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm
