Lacks Enterprises, Inc., is currently accepting applications for a Fulltime Security Officer to work with our Protective Services team on 2nd shift. The security officer is responsible for the safety and security of Lacks Enterprises employees and property. They are required to perform routine patrols by vehicle, make plant checks, enforce company policy per established policies and procedures, complete required paperwork and maintain professional standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and check all equipment and work assignments prior to start of the shift.
  • Patrol assigned patrol area per established procedures.
  • Observe and report violations of company policy, safety codes, security procedures, and illegal
    activity.
  • Respond to emergency situations: Medical, HAZMAT, security incidents, fire and burglar alarms
    and illegal activity.
  • Assists employees and supervisors with security and safety concerns.
  • Performs special non-security functions as assigned by supervisor.
  • Clean work area and vehicle, service vehicle prior to end of shift.
  • Communicates problems and important information to oncoming officers.
  • Completes all paperwork per established procedures.
  • Performs other tasks assigned by designated supervisor.

Requirements:
  • Prior Security background experience
  • Have a clean driving record; not to exceed 4 points
  • Law enforcement, medical, military, or security dispatch work experience preferred
  • Ability to read and write legibly
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work well without direct supervision; self-motivated.
