Senior Technical Program Manager - Security Projects using LLM and AI Tools
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and dynamic Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead cutting-edge security projects centered around Large Language Model (LLM)-based scanning and advanced AI tools. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in improving cybersecurity while orchestrating complex programs involving distributed technical teams in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced TPM with a proven track record of managing demanding technical programs, coordinating globally distributed teams, and delivering impactful results in a time-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
  • Own and drive end-to-end technical program management for security initiatives leveraging LLM-based scanning and AI tools to enhance security protocols across platforms.
  • Define program objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution.

Cross-Team Coordination:
  • Collaborate with distributed teams, including engineering, product management, research, and security teams, to ensure alignment and progress toward shared goals.
  • Serve as a unifying force to keep stakeholders informed, engaged, and accountable while managing relationships and dependencies across teams.

Technical Planning and Execution:
  • Lead technical discussions to shape the development of AI-driven security solutions, establishing best practices for integrating AI tools into security workflows.
  • Partner with technical leads to assess feasibility and scalability of proposed solutions, identify risks, and proactively resolve challenges.

Fast-Paced Thought Leadership:
  • Operate efficiently and effectively in a high-pressure environment, adapting quickly to evolving priorities while maintaining robustness in program delivery.
  • Proactively anticipate risks, roadblocks, and potential challenges surrounding project implementations, offering creative and actionable solutions.

Process Optimization:
  • Build and refine TPM processes and frameworks to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within distributed teams.
  • Champion agile methodologies and ensure accountability while maintaining flexibility for unique team and organizational needs.

Stakeholder Management:
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with teams, leadership, and customers to clarify vision, progress, and obstacles related to security programs.
  • Deliver regular updates and presentations to executive leadership to maintain visibility and drive informed decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, specifically managing complex, fast-paced technical projects in security, AI, or related fields.
    • Proven experience managing distributed teams and multi-functional coordination across time zones.
    • Strong familiarity with AI/ML technologies, security standards, and data-driven solutions.
  • Skills and Attributes:
    • Exceptional technical acumen with an ability to understand, evaluate, and guide sophisticated AI and LLM-based solutions for cybersecurity.
    • Proficiency in managing ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities while maintaining clarity and a laser focus on program objectives.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
    • A bias for action, resourcefulness, and an Always-Willing-To-Do attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the latest advancements in LLM-based technologies and their applications in improving cybersecurity.
  • Experience in leading AI-driven security initiatives and managing data-intensive workflows.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Certifications in agile methodologies or program management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM).
