As a Security Officer Full Time in SAINT PAUL, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. Provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Be part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for potential loss prevention concerns, report suspicious activity, and document incidents in accordance with site requirements.
  • Assist with access control, store opening and closing procedures, and communication with site management and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
