Position Details

  • Location: Construction Site at Sherwood Park
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off
  • Shift: Morning
  • Hours: 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Pay Rate: $19.24/hour

Note: Successful candidates will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test prior to deployment.

Requirements

  • Valid Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid / CPR certificate
  • Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
  • Strong Communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports
  • Must have strong customer service skills
  • Previous security experience would be an asset
  • Basic Computer Skills

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Control access at gates, manage access cards, and greet/screen visitors.
  • Conduct regular patrols to maintain overall site safety and security.
  • Ensure all entrants are properly documented and wearing required PPE.
  • Complete paperwork and maintain accurate logs and records.
  • Collaborate with on-site staff and management to support smooth operations and client updates.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Securiguard and our clients professionally.
  • Accurately record and report incidents; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
