What are the main responsibilities of a full time security guard?

A full time security guard is responsible for protecting property, assets, and people by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Their duties typically include patrolling assigned areas, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access to buildings, responding to alarms or incidents, and reporting suspicious activities. Security guards may also provide assistance during emergencies, enforce rules and regulations, and collaborate with law enforcement if necessary.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time security guard, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Full Time Security Guard, you need a solid understanding of security protocols, situational awareness, and typically a high school diploma or equivalent, with many employers requiring a security guard license.
