Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering psychotherapy services to individuals experiencing various mental health challenges. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' needs and developing tailored treatment plans based on solution-focused interventions.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the preferences and needs of your clients.
  • Maintaining meticulous, compliant clinical records following HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and clinical psychologists, to provide holistic and coordinated patient care.
  • Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to discuss complex cases and enhance treatment quality.
  • Offering education and resources to clients and their families about mental health, treatment pathways, and available community support.
  • Staying informed on the latest advancements and research within the mental health field to enrich your clinical practice.
  • Effectively managing a full caseload while ensuring that all treatment objectives are met promptly and ethically according to the standards set by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. This role focuses on not only addressing immediate mental health concerns but also equipping clients with the skills they need for long-term wellness and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid LCSW license to practice in California.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience, particularly in psychotherapy.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of solution-based therapy approaches and interventions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients and colleagues.
