Job description

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to immediately hire to fill the role of a Full-time Sanitation Worker working 2nd shift Monday - Friday at the Culinary Support Center in Warren, OH.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Understand all aspects of the sanitation and pest control programs
  • Maintain the formal SSOP for all equipment cleaning processes in our Culinary Support Center
  • Ensure proper logging, swabbing, testing, general sanitation and adherence to strict safety protocols
  • Use safety equipment and cleaning tools to ensure team member safety.
  • Ensure compliance in regard to applicable regulatory authority.
  • Have the ability to titrate chemicals
  • Help inspect equipment after cleaning to ensure proper cleaning and that sanitation is completed. Direct re-cleaning of equipment if necessary
  • Complete post cleaning checklist in accordance with the Sanitation Policy

Requirements:
  • 3 or more years minimum related experience and/or training preferred. Sanitation experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern the foodservice industry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
