[Hybrid] Senior Process Engineer Description

Our client in the industrial automation and process systems industry is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to add to their team. In this role, you will lead the design and execution of complex turnkey processing systems, including skid systems and tank solutions for sanitary manufacturing environments. Leveraging your background in sanitary manufacturing operations, knowledge of CIP/SIP systems, and regulatory standards, you will oversee projects from concept through commissioning while collaborating directly with customers and internal teams. This role is well-suited for candidates with strong technical leadership, process engineering expertise, desire to mentor others, and the ability to manage complex projects from design through startup. This is an exciting opportunity with future leadership potential to join an organization focused on innovation, process optimization, and operational growth.

[Hybrid] Senior Process Engineer Responsibilities

•    Lead process engineering projects from concept development through commissioning/startup 
•    Design complex sanitary process systems, including multi-skid, CIP/SIP, and aseptic processing 
•    Review and approve PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and engineering deliverables
•    Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members
•    Lead customer technical discussions, design reviews, and risk assessments
•    Ensure compliance ASME BPE and other regulatory standards
•    Support proposals, estimates, standardization, and cost-reduction initiatives
•    Participate in FAT oversight, commissioning, and onsite startup support

[Hybrid] Senior Process Engineer Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
•    7+ years process engineering experience 
•    Experience within food, beverage, dairy, or pharmaceutical industries required
•    Strong knowledge of sanitary process design and CIP/SIP systems 
•    Experience delivering turnkey skid and tank systems required
•    Strong desire to lead and mentor junior engineers required
•    Experience with ERP system and AutoCAD 2D/3D required
