Job description

We are seeking a SaaS Account Executive (REMOTE) for full time and direct hire role with one of our amazing software partners. This is a remote role for someone located in the United States.


Overview:

This role entails hunting and closing new customer businesses across a range of enterprise-level accounts. We need someone who thrives in a high-activity environment that can handle balancing outbound prospecting, strategic account mapping, and industry development to drive pipeline growth and new business opportunities. You should be able to effectively sell across a variety of industries and customer profiles with superior business acumen to navigate complex procurement processes and organizational structures. Their product is a mobile field inspections management platform for industries like water, gas and electric utilities, government and AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction).


Responsibilities:

  • Own the entire sales cycle for new customers, from the initial prospecting and qualification to complex negotiations and contract close.
  • Become a product expert to understand the product's technical workings and practical business application.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to qualify inbound leads and represent the company at industry events.
  • Have a positive interactive working relationship with Product Management and Product Engineering to resolve issues and to communicate customer needs for future product enhancements.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales forecast on a weekly cadence.
  • Successfully navigate customer procurement and legal processes for initial contracts.
  • Use appropriate business acumen for all levels of the account, including the C-Suite.
  • Seamlessly transition newly closed accounts to the Customer Success and Account Management team post-implementation for ongoing management and expansion.
  • Work closely with the sales engineering team to achieve technical wins.

Requirements:
  • At least 2+ years of experience working in SaaS software doing new logo sales and selling to companies with 500+ employees.
  • Success closing SaaS opportunities of at least $50K+ ACV for initial contracts.
  • Proven track record in SaaS sales with a history of consistently exceeding new logo revenue goals.
  • Exceptional prospecting, discovery, and closing skills that are focused primarily on net-new revenue.
  • Experience navigating complex procurement cycles, including legal, finance, and security reviews.
  • Experience with selling to C-Suite individuals and selling across multiple constituents in a complex organizational structure.
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM is highly desired.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal) both in-person and virtually.
  • Detailed-oriented, well-organized, punctual, and able to keep up-to-date records on accounts and opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Willing to travel up to 10%.
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
