What is a full-time RVer?

Full-time RVers are individuals or families who choose to live in their recreational vehicles (RVs) year-round rather than in a traditional house or apartment. They travel frequently, exploring different places while using their RV as their primary residence. Full-time RVing offers a flexible and adventurous lifestyle, but also comes with unique challenges such as managing mail, healthcare, and finding reliable internet on the road.

What are full-time jobs while living in an RV?

Full-time RV jobs include a variety of positions that you can do from a recreational vehicle. You can work as a graphic designer, a writer, or a data entry clerk, to name just a few. Working from an RV allows you to travel to remote locations while still using the internet to get a job done. In this role, you may use virtual office software to coordinate with other employees, access online databases, write content for websites, or design materials for the company. Most people who work from RV's use a laptop, but you may need to get a larger and more powerful computer if your job requires it.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full-time RV technician, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Full-Time RV Technician, you need strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and knowledge of RV systems, typically supported by technical training or certification (such as RVIA/RVDA). Familiarity with hand and power tools, diagnostic software, and electrical and plumbing systems is crucial. Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication with customers set top performers apart. These skills ensure safe, high-quality repairs and maintenance, leading to customer satisfaction and repeat business.

What are some common challenges faced by full-time RVers in maintaining a work-life balance while on the road?

Full-Time RVers who work remotely often find it challenging to separate their work and personal life due to limited space and the constant change of environment. Reliable internet access can also be a hurdle, requiring advance planning and investment in mobile connectivity solutions. Additionally, time zone changes and varying campground environments may impact productivity and routine, so successful RVers develop strong organizational skills and flexible schedules to stay on track. Building community with other RVers and utilizing co-working spaces when available can also help maintain a healthy balance.

Coachella Lakes is a state-of-the-art RV resort where nature meets comfort. From our scenic lakes and golf course to cozy cabins, sparkling pool, and breathtaking views, we create a destination where guests come to relax, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors.

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you help make that experience possible. You’ll be responsible for creating clean, comfortable, and inviting spaces that make our guests feel right at home—whether they’re staying for one night, a weekend getaway, or several weeks.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

We believe great resorts start with great people. We value the time, talent, and hard work our associates bring to the team, and we’re committed to helping you succeed.

Your benefits include:

  • Discounted Site Rent
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits
  • 2 Weeks Annual PTO
  • 6 Paid Holidays
  • 401(k) Match Up to 6%
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Virtual, In-Person & Conference Learning Opportunities
About the Role

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll be an important part of creating the “home away from home” experience our guests expect. You’ll take pride in the details and help ensure every cabin, common area, and resort facility is clean, comfortable, and ready for our guests.

What You’ll Do
  • Create a warm, welcoming environment by keeping guest spaces and resort facilities clean, sanitary, and guest-ready.
  • Clean and maintain cabins, including bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.
  • Clean and sanitize resort amenities and common areas such as bathhouses, laundry facilities, clubhouses, offices, and other shared spaces.
  • Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, disinfect, wash windows, and maintain floors, fixtures, mirrors, and other surfaces.
  • Clean and sanitize appliances and ensure kitchens and bathrooms are free of food particles, mold, mildew, and other debris.
  • Complete cabin turnover inspections and report missing, damaged, or maintenance-related items.
  • Wash, dry, fold, and maintain linens, towels, blankets, and other resort laundry.
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to help keep the resort looking and operating its best.
  • Follow proper safety procedures, including the safe use and handling of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Work as part of a team to support daily resort operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Be flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and other shifts based on resort needs.
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Takes pride in their work and notices the little things.
  • Enjoys creating clean, comfortable spaces for others.
  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team.
  • Is dependable, hardworking, and willing to jump in where needed.
  • Understands that great hospitality is about how you make people feel, not just how clean a space looks.
  • Enjoys working in an active, outdoor hospitality environment.

No two days are exactly alike—and that’s part of what makes working at Coachella Lakes so rewarding.

If you’re someone who takes pride in a job well done and wants to be part of a team that creates memorable experiences for our guests, we’d love to meet you!
