Zion Mountain Ranch is an elevated sanctuary just 3 miles from the East Entrance of Zion National Park, set on a roaming bison preserve. Guests can choose from thoughtfully crafted cabins and bespoke lodges and enjoy onsite experiences including guided horseback riding, bison feedings, and Cordwood, a fieldtofork restaurant featuring ingredients from the ranch's organic gardens.

Team members play a vital role in creating experiences that strengthen guests' connection to this landscape and its enduring story.

Job Summary:

This positionis responsible forwashing dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand,maintainingkitchen work areas and equipment in clean conditions,sweepingand scrubbing floors, bussing tables, serving food, and sorting and removing trash.(Seasonal working dates: Date of hire through November 1st)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce,cleanand sanitize pots,dishesand utensils ina timelyfashion manually or with dish machine.

  • Maintain proper use of dishmachineby monitoring cleaning product levels and temperatures.

  • Store all items in their proper place.

  • Provide high quality service for guests and fellow employees with a friendly and cooperative attitude.

  • Maintain dish stations. Keep them clean and free of debris. Help with trash removal,compostingand recycling efforts.

  • Maintain kitchen floors, keepingitclean and dry.

  • Clean kitchen walls, equipment, and other areas, as assigned.

  • Know health department guidelinesregardingwater temperature, slippery floors, knife handling, and proper use of machinery and equipment.

  • Working knowledge of all chemicals, proper uses,appropriate quantities, and emergency procedures, as detailed on MSDS sheets.

  • May provide assistance with bussing tables, cleaning food court areas and lifting and storage of food.

  • Ability to follow Food and Beverage Manager and Lead Chef kitchen requirements.
