We are now hiring Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) for senior living homes in Stoufville, Ontario. Our client provides a competitive compensation package! Current certificate of registration from College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN) and be able to provide a copy of the nursing license to indicate good standing.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Utilize sound nursing practice principles and Provide nursing care in accordance with policy, physician's orders, the resident plan of care

• Identify the needs of residents and develop and maintain appropriate care plans

• Ensure a timely and accessible admission for the residents

• Ensure the supply, control and safe keeping of drugs and narcotics, ensure protocols are followed on all assigned shifts

• RPN - Diploma in Practical Nursing, current registration as Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration

• Knowledge of the requirements of the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, the appropriate sections of the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, Food & Drug Act
