Tutor Intelligence is an AI software company focused on building technology for robots to operate in American factories. The Robotics Research Scientist will develop AI algorithms and systems that enhance robotic capabilities, contributing to significant advancements in the physical economy.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Exceptionally strong programming skills and comfort in one or more programming languages
โ€ข Natural collaborator, excited to work closely around a whiteboard in a team setting
โ€ข Excited by the future full of robots and a reshaped physical economy
โ€ข Not afraid to step foot in a factory or a warehouse
Preferred:
โ€ข Advanced proficiency with Python and/or Typescript + React
โ€ข Experience with robot arms / manipulation
โ€ข Experience with motion planning and robot optimization
โ€ข Experience with perception or computer vision (deep or classical)
โ€ข Experience with infra and devtools (systemd, Docker, Kubernetes)
โ€ข Experience with hardware / software integration
