AMGSpecialty Hospital - Central Indiana Muncie campus is offering a$10,000 Sign-On Bonus* for a FT Charge Nurse, RN for Day Shifts!
Charge Nurse (RN) supervises the patient care activitiesperformed by other RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Communicate with Physicians/CCO/staff,as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including resultsof diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accuratelyto changes in condition or response to treatment. Responsible for fostering apositive milieu in the hospital. The Charge Nurse keeps CCO and CEO apprised ofsituations that may place facility at risk. Provides direct patient care asrequired based on staffing and patient acuity. Some of the medicalconditions that are commonly treated include but are not limited to;Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap,and nasal cannula. Depending on the complexity of these patients, they canrequire sedation/pain management, pressor management, andcardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicated infections requiring long-termIV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatmentwith wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. RN's willbe responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the acute caresetting. Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriateabout changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnosticstudies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes incondition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to performgeneral nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Thisposition requires 2 years of ICU experience!
