Full-Time

Aspire Senior Living Joplin is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Full-Time Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to join our leadership team. As the Assistant Director of Nursing (RN), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily clinical operations of our facility, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and compliance with all regulatory standards.

The Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) collaborates closely with the Director of Nursing and other key staff to foster a positive work environment, support nursing staff, and enhance patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and overseeing nursing services.

  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff to ensure professional growth and high morale.

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and implement improvement plans as needed.

  • Oversee staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.

  • Conduct rounds to assess patient conditions and ensure proper nursing interventions.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies.

  • Assist in preparing for and participating in audits, inspections, and surveys.

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff competencies.

  • Facilitate continuing education and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.

  • Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families to ensure clear communication and optimal care.

  • Collaborate with other departments to support interdisciplinary care planning.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) nursing license in Missouri.

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
