Job description

Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit 

  • Shift: Nights, 7:00pm-8:00am, 3 days per week, rotating weekends and holidays
  • Permanent, Full-time

Job Description:
Looking for a full-time RN to join our 36-bed Medical Surgical unit! The RN will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines. Provide supervision of non-RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff on assigned unit. Supervise unit activities when assigned to charge or clinical coordinator role. Act as preceptor to new staff and/or students as requested.

Required Skills:
1) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

2) Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut

3) Minimum of 1 year nursing experience required

4) BSN highly preferred

5) BLS certification required
