USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse with PreOp/PACU experience.

USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is a specialty inpatient hospital which was established to set a new standard for excellence and patient satisfaction in the delivery of orthopedic and spinal surgery. Arizona Specialty Hospital provides excellent patient services and the highest level of care, with the overall goal of improving the delivery of healthcare in Maricopa County and beyond.

Our singular focus is the state-of-the-art care of musculoskeletal conditions including joint replacement, spine surgery and other reconstructive procedures.  Job Summary

  • The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
  • The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. 
  • The RN will be working in PreOp/PACU (responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient) and circulating the case.
  • The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Required Skills

Education, Training, and Experience Requirement's:

  • Current Arizona Nursing License
  • Current BLS, ACLS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
  • Minimum 2 year experience in a hospital setting
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
