REGISTERED NURSE - CLINICAL RESOURCE LEAD (CRL) MEDICINE

(TEMPORARY FULL TIME)


One (1) temporary full time Clinical Resource Lead (CRL) opportunity is available within our Medicine Department at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.


We are seeking a motivated Clinical Resource Lead (CRL) with excellent leadership and communication skills. As the CRL, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the inpatient care areas under the direction of the Patient Care Manager. This includes assessment, planning, provision and evaluation of patient care and nursing services for the assigned area of responsibility. The CRL will serve as a clinical resource and role model for unit staff. In the absence of the Patient Care Manager, you will assume responsibility for the functioning of the inpatient care area as directed. You will be part of a team of CRL's ensuring coverage 24hrs/7 days a week.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse, baccalaureate prepared and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience in a medical-surgical environment, including intensive care
  • Previous experience as charge nurse
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias
  • Exemplary attendance and work record
  • Compassionate with sound judgement, conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle stress, be flexible and constantly adapt to shifting priorities
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in approaches to effectively assist with and manage change and build capacity in self and in the team
  • Ability to lead change processes by helping stakeholders see necessity and value of change, and work to get people engaged and excited
  • Effective team player with leadership values that reflect a commitment to the development of themselves and others, culture development and best outcomes for patients, families and the
    inter-professional team
