Job description


Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Cardiac Diagnostics is hiring a full time RN to join their Cardiac Diagnostics team! This is day shift role Monday-Friday; working 5x8 hour shifts per week; no nights, weekends or holidays.
Location: 8081 Innovation Park Dr Fairfax, VA
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7.00am-3.30p
Responsibilities include:
  • Set up and monitoring patients for stress testing, including nuclear, pharmacological, stress echo, and regular treadmill studies.
  • EKG rhythm identification and interpretation (willing to train)
  • Prep patient for stress testing procedure
  • Provide emergency support to patients in all areas of office as needed
  • Support physicians, nurse practitioners and additional staff

Cardiac Diagnostics RN Qualifications:
  • Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Certification - Basic Life Support through AHA
  • Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
  • Education:BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Cardiac Diagnostics RN Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year recent ICU RN experience
