Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – 1st Shift (Full-Time) 12 hours

Pay amp; Schedule
  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Schedule: Full-Time (every other weekend required)
  • Shift Differentials: Available for all shifts, including weekends

What You’ll Do

As an RN or LPN at Friends Homes, you will provide high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting, supporting both their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
  • Monitor resident health and report changes in condition
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including MARs
  • Supervise CNAs and support the care team
  • Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings
  • Respond to emergencies and follow safety/infection control protocols

✅ Qualifications

Required:

  • Current North Carolina RN or LPN license
  • Current CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)

Preferred:

  • Experience in long-term care or geriatrics
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
