Rate of pay: $36.00-$42.79 per hour

We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused RN. Candidates must have nursing experience and a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality. We currently have the following shifts available: Full-time, 7pm-7am, every other weekend required.

The RN at The Glenview at Pelican Bay is responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.

The RN is responsible for the following services including but not limited to:

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
  • Make written and oral reports/ recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required.
  • Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon the resident's admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
  • Receive telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physicians' Order Form.
  • Transcribe physician's orders to resident charts, cardex, medication cards, treatment/care plans, as required.
  • chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident's response to the care.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
  • Ensure that narcotic records are accurate for your shift.
  • Review care plans daily to ensure that appropriate care is being rendered.
  • Receive/give the nursing report upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.

Skills/Qualifications:

Florida State Licensed Registered Nurse License and CPR Certification. Must pass an extensive criminal check and drug screen.
