Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Level One Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU / Neuroscience ICU). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Magnet®-designated, academic teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center.

Unit Overview – Neuro Surgical ICU
  • 20-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NsICU)
  • Provides care for critically ill adult patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions

    • Post-operative neurosurgical needs

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.

Qualifications

  • Grad of an Accredited RN Program
  • Specialized field of study should be nursing.
  • RN license.
  • Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
