Lead Compassionate Care During the Day
As a Day Shift Psychiatric RN, you’ll guide patient care during the most active hours of treatment. You’ll combine clinical judgment, therapeutic communication, and teamwork to help patients progress safely through their inpatient journey.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments, including long-acting injectables

  • Lead admissions, discharges, and care coordination with the interdisciplinary team

  • Provide crisis intervention using therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques

  • Supervise and collaborate with LPNs and support staff

  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

  • Educate patients and families to support treatment goals


What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program. (BSN preferred but not required.)

  • License: Current, unencumbered RN license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with psychiatric patients preferred. New graduate RNs are welcome to apply.

  • Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older.
