• Develop, implement, and manage personalized treatment plans, ensuring they are in line with the latest clinical guidelines.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and lifestyle modification plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, preventive measures, and health promotion strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care across various treatment modalities.
• Document thorough and accurate patient medical histories and encounter notes within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient safety.
• Stay informed about evolving healthcare practices, regulations, and trends in the field of rheumatology.

This role primarily encompasses a diverse patient population suffering from a variety of rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and other connective tissue disorders. The Nurse Practitioner will engage with patients from varying backgrounds and age groups, working to build strong therapeutic relationships that promote trust and understanding. You will play a vital role in monitoring patient progress over time, adjusting treatments, and addressing any new health concerns that arise.

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a focus on adult or family practice.
• Active registered nursing license in New York State.
• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in rheumatology or a related specialty.

• The salary for this role ranges between $120,000 to $220,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
