Job description

Rheumatologist

Compensation: $265,000 – $345,000 per year

Job Type : Full-time Monday – Friday, 1:3 call rotation

Location: Munster, IN


Join a well-established and expanding healthcare provider in Northwest Indiana that actively prioritizes physician well-being and a sustainable work-life balance. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to design your practice around your professional goals within a premier, tech-forward environment, distinguished as one of the few HIMSS Stage VII facilities in the country. 


Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized diagnostic, treatment, and management for a full spectrum of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, and vasculitis.
  • Manage a high-volume outpatient clinic with a focus on chronic disease management and complex multi-system autoimmune cases.
  • Oversee and manage in-office infusion services, including the administration and monitoring of biologic therapies.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as joint aspirations, ultrasound-guided injections, and soft tissue injections as part of a comprehensive treatment plan
  • Provide patient education regarding long-term disease progression, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.


Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Rheumatology, or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
  • Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
  • Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists
