They work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities, often as part of a medical team. Their duties include performing diagnostic tests, administering treatments such as oxygen therapy, managing ventilators, and educating patients on respiratory health. Full time positions typically require working 36–40 hours per week, sometimes including nights, weekends, or holidays.
