Job description

Join Lake Lawn Resort as a Maintenance Technician and help keep our resort running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone skilled in facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple systems.
Position Details
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Shift: 2nd shift, weekend availability required
  • Department: Engineering / Maintenance

What You'll Do
  • Complete maintenance work orders and service requests across the property
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems
  • Repair and maintain equipment (heaters, exhaust fans, kitchen equipment, etc.)
  • Perform light carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed
  • Prepare basic labor and material estimates for maintenance projects
  • Monitor and maintain pool systems, including chemical adjustments and filtration
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations
  • Assist with seasonal tasks, including snow removal
  • Support team training and follow all safety procedures

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of maintenance or related experience preferred
  • Experience in one or more areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or carpentry
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
