This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you to deliver services from the comfort of your home while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule. You will collaborate virtually with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other social workers, to ensure constant communication and coordinated care. As an LCSW at Fresno Mental Therapy Services, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to comprehend patients’ mental health status, strengths, and needs to inform treatment planning.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to develop and execute comprehensive care plans that address the multifaceted needs of patients.
• Helping patients and their families understand mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medications, promoting informed decision-making and engagement in their treatment journey.
• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that best meet the goals of the patients.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment updates, patient progress, and adapt care plans as necessary.
• Advocating for patients' needs within the mental health system, assisting them in navigating resources and access to care.
• Leading psychoeducational sessions and therapeutic groups aimed at increasing mental health literacy and coping strategies.

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. You will address the unique challenges faced by different demographics, including children, adults, and families, adapting your approach to respect their cultural and individual backgrounds. Our clinic is dedicated to removing barriers to care and promoting accessibility in mental health services.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• Robust knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and effective crisis intervention strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, exhibiting the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
