• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs through interviews, questionnaires, and psychological testing, leading to well-informed clinical diagnoses.
• Develop personalized treatment plans leveraging evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness practices, adapted to each client’s unique situation.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, carefully monitoring client progress and adapting strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and management for clients undergoing acute mental health crises, ensuring timely support and safety measures are implemented effectively.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, in alignment with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaborations with psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, promoting comprehensive care tailored to the needs of each client.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources that are accessible to them.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying current with best practices through workshops, trainings, and other educational opportunities.

You will be working with a diverse clientele ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing unique mental health challenges. Ridgeview services encompass individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. This role requires a sensitive and empathetic approach, enabling clients to feel heard and understood during therapy sessions.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in the state of Illinois is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is necessary; a Master’s or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapeutic services is essential.
• Strong clinical assessment skills with a proven ability to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage clients and families effectively in therapy.
• Capability to work autonomously while also collaborating as a part of a team-oriented environment.

• Experience in a clinical setting is advantageous, although entry-level positions are available for candidates demonstrating relevant skills and a strong commitment to practicing psychotherapy.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, with the potential for a sign-on bonus.
