This role allows you to work remotely while being part of a supportive and collaborative community health clinic. Our remote setting is designed to ensure flexibility and efficiency, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home. We utilize advanced telehealth technology and electronic health record systems, which enables seamless interaction with both clients and fellow healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive care.

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and create detailed documentation for each client, from initial consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices for individuals, families, and groups.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors effectively.
• Monitor client progress continually, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and health goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure coordinated care and successful management of complex cases.
• Provide follow-up care for clients with specific needs, such as those recently discharged from inpatient mental health facilities.
• Educate and support families and caregivers in managing mental health challenges within their households.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in psychotherapy, new methodologies, and best practices to enhance delivery of mental health care.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various mental health conditions. Your role will focus on understanding each client's unique background, cultural factors, and psychological needs. This position requires both acute clinical insight and the ability to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship, allowing clients to feel safe and understood as they navigate their mental health journeys.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of two years of documented experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to streamline documentation and communication.
• A deep understanding of both the physical and emotional implications of mental health, including addiction disorders.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Experience with virtual therapy platforms and digital counseling methodologies, enhancing remote care delivery.
• Familiarity with the best practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and the effects of medications prescribed by medical professionals.
• A proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
