• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans that accurately reflect clients' goals and aspirations.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques, in sessions tailored to individual, couple, or family contexts.
• Collaborate with clients to identify their needs, establish achievable treatment objectives, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure progress toward mental health goals.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring that documentation is accurate and reflective of each client's journey.
• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in workshops, training sessions, and supervision to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health counseling.

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of clients from various backgrounds, addressing an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
• An active LCMHC license in the state of Vermont is mandatory for consideration.
• Demonstrated experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds is essential to address a range of mental health issues effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are critical for building trusting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a remote team environment.

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with more extensive backgrounds in specific therapeutic modalities or with particular populations (such as children, LGBTQ+ individuals, or veterans) are encouraged to apply. Experience in crisis intervention and group therapy settings will also be viewed favorably.
