• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status, utilizing standardized screening tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based techniques and culturally responsive strategies.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing therapeutic interventions that empower clients to navigate their challenges.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or specialists, to ensure comprehensive care when needed.
• Document all interactions and sessions accurately in our electronic health record system for compliance and continuity of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying updated on best practices and emerging trends within the mental health field.

You will work with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, substance abuse disorders, and eating disorders. Your role is not just to treat, but also to educate and empower individuals, helping them build resilience and develop coping strategies that are crucial for their recovery and long-term mental health.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience, working with varied patient populations.
• A profound understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic interventions, with a commitment to cultural competence in mental health care.
• Strong proficiency in therapeutic techniques, including crisis intervention and collaborative treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Experience providing group therapy in addition to individual counseling.
• Familiarity with culturally responsive approaches and sensitivity toward the cultural backgrounds of clients.
• Demonstrated success in crisis management and intervention.
