This role is set within the framework of a school environment and is primarily remote, allowing flexibility and comfort while delivering quality care. • Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations for students to develop tailored treatment plans that are comprehensive and actionable.
• Implement mandated reporting processes, including executing duty-to-warn protocols as required, ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to establish and refine holistic treatment strategies.
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups, encouraging feedback and making necessary adjustments to their care plans.
• Utilize data collection and outcome analysis to measure the effectiveness of interventions and improve future treatment processes.
• Manage client documentation with precision, ensuring all records are kept up-to-date and comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay current on the latest research and best practices in therapeutic techniques, integrating new methods into client interventions to enhance care delivery.

In this position, you will focus on a diverse array of clients, primarily students seeking mental health support. You will engage with younger individuals facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, academic stress, and behavioral issues. Your ability to relate to their experiences and offer supportive counseling will be central to their personal development and healing.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• A current professional license in the state of California is essential for this position.
• A minimum of three years of post-clinical experience in a relevant setting is mandatory.
• Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic modalities is necessary to provide effective treatment.
• Excellent diagnostic skills, capable of interpreting various assessment tools to inform treatment decisions.
• The ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients, caregivers, and colleagues is vital.

Experience in a school setting or with adolescent clients is preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and the ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to an online format is a plus. Additionally, a background in trauma-informed care practices will be beneficial to foster a nurturing environment for our clients.

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
