Kids Peace Wellness Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive mental health support to children and adolescents in the Pittsburgh area, with a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This position offers a remote work setting, allowing our counselors to engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes or preferred environments. Aligning with our outpatient office model, we emphasize flexibility in our approach, ensuring access to care while supporting our team of professionals. Our work schedule primarily runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some allowances for flexibility based on patient needs.

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments using evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to craft personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to implement effective interventions during sessions.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations, ensuring the highest standards of client confidentiality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals, to provide integrated care and improve client outcomes.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, fostering continuous professional development and enhancing the quality of care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, ensuring informed decision-making and support.
• Stay current with developments in the mental health field to provide the most effective and relevant care to clients.

• Possession of a Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active state-issued license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated expertise in applying solution-based psychotherapy techniques, allowing for tailored and effective client care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly focusing on child and adolescent populations.
• Knowledge of specific therapeutic modalities such as play therapy or attachment-based therapy is a plus.
