• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health needs, history, and personal goals.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy strategies, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing evidence-based interventions for diverse client populations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care to clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, keeping current with the latest research and advancements in mental health practices.

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of our clients have limited access to traditional mental health services, making your role crucial in providing meaningful support and guidance.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

• Familiarity with specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care.
• Experience leading group therapy sessions and community outreach initiatives.
• Advanced training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
