As a remote mental health professional, you will join a nurturing and collaborative online workspace. • Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to ascertain patient needs and create tailored treatment plans that align with best practices.

• Guide clients in developing coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and effective communication techniques, empowering them to manage their mental health challenges independently.
• Facilitate various psychoeducational and support group sessions that address prevalent mental health issues, fostering a community of support and understanding.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed during emergencies, ensuring that patients receive prompt and compassionate care.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient progress, treatments delivered, and interventions planned, aligning with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay current in the mental health field.

Your primary focus will be serving a rich tapestry of clients, including individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community and immigrants. You will be instrumental in providing accessible mental health support that respects and responds to their unique experiences and needs.

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Independent licensure in Texas as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
• Strong interpersonal skills complemented by a high level of computer literacy.
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities combined with cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive care.
• A solid background in crisis intervention and handling mental health emergencies.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to continuous professional development in cultural competency.
