Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories, mental health conditions, and readiness for change.
• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans that not only address substance abuse but also tackle underlying mental health issues such as anxiety or depression.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to engage clients actively in their recovery process.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and peer support specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
• Providing education and support to clients’ families to foster involvement in the recovery journey, helping them understand the challenges and victories of the recovery process.
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring quality care and continuous improvement in treatment efficacy.

As a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor, you will primarily work with individuals battling substance use disorders, including alcohol and drugs. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique stories and struggles. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD, demonstrating your professional qualification to practice as a mental health therapist.
