SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROFESSIONAL / FULL TIME & PART TIME OPPORTUNITIES
We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented substance abuse professional who is passionate about supporting people on their recovery journey. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, thrives in a team environment, and demonstrates integrity, empathy, and cultural sensitivity while delivering evidence-based care.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Current Illinois IDHS license as a Substance Abuse Professional (e.g., CADC, LSW, LPC, or equivalent).
  • SAP-DOT qualification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing substance use counseling or related behavioral-health services.
  • Strong interpersonal, documentation, and crisis-management skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and ethical standards.
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide individual and group counseling for clients struggling with substance use disorders.
  • Complete assessments and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and IDHS standards.
  • Facilitate educational workshops, relapse-prevention programs, and family support sessions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and community resources to support recovery.
